Siebel UCM Survivorship Rules (Issues, Error Code) Strange Behaviors Error list and my Explanations/Solutions.

Many of my fellow developers/Architects faced the tough challenge of enabling Survivorship rules in Siebel UCM. Enabling means- A proper working pattern or model of Survivorship rules. I have started an internal project with in my Organisation to show-case the features of Siebel UCM aka Siebel MDM aka CDH and many more. To Enable UCM Survivorship:
  • Check the Following parameters in System Preferences
  • Enable Survivorship Engine --> TRUE
  • Enable Survivorship Engine 1 -->Account
  • Enable Survivorship Engine 2 -->Contact
  • Ensure only one Active Survivorship Rule for each entity
  • Set the WFP parameter for the "Customer Profile" or "Server Party" to true while executing
For Siebel UCM 8.1.1.X--> Ensure that the patches are applied in Siebel Tools and compiled those objects
  • ACR437_UCM
  • ACR475A_UCM
  • ACR475B_UCM
